Job description

Quality Manager – Exempt Position

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of inspectors, CMM programmers, and quality engineers
  • Act as management representative, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System in compliance with the AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain organizational awareness and training on the Quality Management System
  • Direct internal audit processes, facilitate certification, customer, and other quality audits
  • Evaluate customer returns, drive dispositions, and assure resolution; interface with customers on quality issues and resolution
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience in process optimization and new product introduction preferred
  • 3 or more years of experience working within AS or ISO quality management systems
  • Commitment to quality and attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience in communicating with suppliers and customers for corrective actions and reviews
  • Direct experience as a QMS auditor
