Summary

The Project Manager, R&D PMO leads cross‑functional teams in the development and commercialization of new products and services within Hollister’s New Product and Process Development (NPPD) framework. The role is responsible for building integrated business cases, developing and executing project plans, managing resources, resolving product development challenges, and ensuring alignment across stakeholder groups. The position maintains strong relationships with functional leaders to support project success and fosters a high‑performance culture grounded in innovation, accountability, and results. The Project Manager also provides coaching to Core Team Leaders outside the PMO, enabling consistent application of project management practices across teams. 

Hollister Incorporated operates in a hybrid work environment. Employees are expected to come into the office a minimum of 4 days per week. Sponsorship to work in the US is not available at this time.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional Core Teams to execute project plans and deliver products in alignment with commercialization strategies. 

• Develop integrated business plans and detailed commercialization plans that reflect market requirements and global rollout considerations. 

• Plan, schedule, and manage project activities to achieve defined objectives, ensuring compliance with product development and quality system processes. 

• Manage project budgets, cost targets, and ROI expectations; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed. 

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior leaders and functional stakeholders. 

• Foster a high‑performance team culture by promoting innovation, accountability, and results‑driven execution. 

• Provide structured guidance to project teams, including task delegation and issue resolution. 

• Coach team members and Core Team Leaders in project management methodologies and process adherence. 

• Guide decision‑making using strong analytical thinking and evaluation of options and impacts. 

• Ensure delivery of high‑quality, market‑appropriate project outputs. 

• Provide input during annual planning cycles regarding resource needs, development priorities, and financial requirements. 

Essential Functions of the Role

Education & Work Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of related experience

• Strong track record in project execution, leadership, and stakeholder management within matrixed environments. 

• Demonstrated ability to utilize project management tools and follow best‑practice methodologies. 

• PMP certification preferred. 

• Experience with product development and commercialization processes. 

• Strong communication, influence management, and organizational skills. 

• Demonstrated ability to manage communications at all organizational levels. 

• Strong analytical, planning, and decision‑making skills with the ability to balance priorities and adapt to changing needs.

Our Total Rewards package in aggregate is above market and includes competitive pay, paid time off programs, peer-to-peer recognition, health and life insurance, wellness programs and incentives, and generous retirement savings.

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.​
  • This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Corporate Bonus Plan.
  • The Company’s health and welfare benefits include medical, prescription, dental, vision, spending/savings accounts, disability, company paid (parental and caregiver) leaves, statutory leaves/disability programs, accident, life, wellbeing, education assistance, adoption assistance, and voluntary benefit programs. ​
