About Javvy
Javvy is on a mission to set a new standard for café favorites with better-for-you beverages that are craveable, convenient, and without compromise. Positioned at the intersection of café culture, convenience, and functional nutrition, we're reimagining the drinks people buy every day - proving you don't have to compromise between great taste and quality ingredients. What began as a cult-favorite DTC brand has rapidly scaled into an omnichannel business, now expanding into major retail while building a loyal community around better-for-you café favorites.
The Opportunity:
The Product Development Project Manager plays a critical role in turning product ideas into successful launches. Reporting to the Head of Product Development & Innovation, this role is responsible for owning and managing the Stage Gate process and project managing the full product development lifecycle from concept through commercialization.
This person acts as the operational engine behind new product innovation - ensuring projects move forward on schedule, stakeholders stay aligned, and every step of development is executed with precision.
You will partner closely with Product Development, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales to ensure new products are launched efficiently and at the highest quality standards.
If you love structure, organization, and turning big ideas into real products on shelves, this role is for you.
What You'll Own:
Stage Gate Process Ownership
  • Own and manage Javvy's Stage Gate product development framework, ensuring projects move efficiently from concept to commercialization.
  • Define, document, and maintain clear deliverables, timelines, and decision points at each stage of development.
  • Coordinate gate reviews and ensure all cross-functional stakeholders are aligned before moving projects forward.
  • Continuously refine and improve the Stage Gate process to increase speed, accountability, and clarity across teams.

Product Development Project Management
  • Build and manage end-to-end product development timelines across formulation, packaging, regulatory, manufacturing, and launch preparation.
  • Track milestones, dependencies, and risks to keep projects on schedule.
  • Proactively identify blockers and coordinate solutions across teams.
  • Maintain clear documentation and project visibility for leadership.

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Serve as the central hub for communication between Product Development, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Ensure each team understands deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Drive alignment around product specifications, launch timing, packaging requirements, and operational readiness.

Launch Execution
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure all launch requirements are completed, including:
    • Product specifications
    • Packaging development
    • Manufacturing readiness
    • Costing and margin alignment
    • Regulatory and labeling approvals
  • Support launch readiness to ensure smooth transition from development to production.

Process & Operational Excellence
  • Improve workflows, documentation, and systems used to manage product development.
  • Develop tools and dashboards that give leadership visibility into project timelines and progress.
  • Identify opportunities to increase launch velocity without sacrificing quality.

You're a Fit If...
  • 4-7 years of experience in product development, R&D, or project management, ideally in CPG, food & beverage, or consumer products.
  • Experience managing cross-functional product launches from concept to market.
  • Strong understanding of product development workflows and stage gate processes.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills (Notion, ClickUp, Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project, or similar).
  • Comfortable coordinating multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Excellent communicator who can keep teams aligned and accountable.
  • Experience working in food & beverage or CPG product development.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing timelines, packaging development, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers or co-packers.
  • Passion for coffee or better-for-you consumer products.

Why This Role Rocks:
  • Competitive Salary
  • 100% Company-Paid Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance for employees
(Family coverage available at employee cost)
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan
  • Parental Leave
  • Free Access to Javvy Products
  • Career Growth Opportunities
