Responsibilities:
- Create documentation of new designs including 3D models, drawings, bills of material, and technical information needed for brochures and productmanuals.
- Convert customer requirements into product designs
- Participate in new product development activities
- Ability to work with Manufacturing to implement new product designs into production
- Analyze where processes and procedures are underutilized or inefficient then design new processes and procedures for the business to follow
- Support sales and technical service in answering technical questions about new products
- Capability to utilize hand and simple power tools along with instruments required to set and perform lab tests
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Previous experience as a New Product Development Engineer is required
- Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is required
- Previous experience creating parts and assemblies is required
- 3D CAD & Solid Edge experience
- Experience with coding languages (VBA, Python, Java, etc.); VBA preferred
- Microsoft Office
- ERP Software experience

Our Client is NOT looking for a Mechanical Designer, a Project Manager with New Product Development experience would be ideal.
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant Engineering Degree
- Previous experience with New Product Development (2-3 years)
- Previous experience with Coding Languages (VBA, Python, Java)- prefer VBA
- Previous experience with an ERP System
- Previous experience Creating Parts & Assemblies in 3D CAD
Nice-to-Have:
- Previous experience with Teamcenter & Infor's Syteline software
- Solid Edge experience
