As an experienced Mainframe Developer,you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.

Work you'll do/Responsibilities  

  • Responsible for the daily development, maintenance, and support of the mainframe health claims applications.
  • Develop, test, and deploy code changes for claims processing systems based on technical specifications.
  • Monitor daily batch jobs and resolve ABENDs within defined SLA timelines.
  • Assist in unit and integration testing of new healthcare compliance updates.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and runbooks for the Operate team.

Qualifications 

 Required 

  • 4+ years of experience in software, systems, or embedded engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in Mainframe application development (COBOL, JCL, DB2).
  • Experience with incident and change management processes (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
