Primary Job Responsibilities:

Assists assigned client managers or account executives with employer group, broker and/or consultants with support service requests. This role supports all market segments - small, large and national accounts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides assistance to Account Managers and/or Account Executives to provide eective and timely service to clients and brokers through research and resolution of questions or issues with eligibility, claims, customer service or other operational matters. Accurately completes internal documentation for service resolution as required. Communicates resolution to the client and/or broker by phone and/or email and accurately documents to le.

  • Provides assistance to Account Executives to gather and submit documents, census, and other required information to Underwriting through Sales Force and/or Producer Toolkit to generate proposals.

  • Assists with new client implementations when assigned, working with the Account Manager and/or Account Executive, Group Administration, the client and broker, as necessary. Responsibilities may include gathering required information from clients, evaluating the submission for completeness and compliance with request, and submission by established processes to Underwriting and/or Group Administration.

  • Prepares periodic standard and special reports as requested for clients and brokers. Transmits the reports by required due dates.

  • Participates as requested in periodic client status meetings with Account Managers and/or Account Executives to deliver reports, discusses service results and addresses any client service concerns.

  • Communicates signicant service or client and broker concerns to the Account Manager and/or Account Executive, and if necessary, the Director of Client Management, immediately.

  • Represents the company at client enrollment meetings, health fairs or other activities to present benets and advantages of enrolling with Delta Dental.

  • Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Position requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related eld and six months' of work experience in sales, customer service or administration.

  • A North Carolina health license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment is preferred. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

Other Skills/Abilities

  • Position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage time to meet short deadlines for multiple, simultaneous tasks

  • Prociency with Microsoft Oce Applications (Word/Excel)

  • Additional requirements include basic technology analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to communicate with ease to brokers and clients; resolve somewhat complex problems and use independent judgment.

  • Position also requires the ability to travel and a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
