SummaryOur client administers retirement, insurance, and benefit programs for over 600,000 Wisconsin state and local government employees and retirees.
Position OverviewWe are seeking detail-oriented and adaptable Benefit Specialists to support benefit administration and modernization initiatives. This role involves working with sensitive member data, interpreting complex benefit programs, and delivering clear, accurate information to a variety of audiences.
This position will initially focus on data research, validation, and remediation efforts tied to system modernization projects, with additional responsibilities supporting day-to-day benefit operations.
Work Arrangement- Hybrid schedule: minimum 2 days onsite per week
- Remaining days remote based on workload and business needs
- Must be a current Wisconsin resident
Key Responsibilities- Research, analyze, and update complex member benefit data
- Support data conversion and remediation for system modernization efforts
- Interpret and apply benefit program rules, policies, and regulations
- Communicate complex information clearly via phone, email, and written correspondence
- Process benefit transactions (Health, Life, Vision, Dental, Medicare, etc.) as needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information
