NVIDIA Networking has been a leader in high performance networking infrastructure for many years. The next unit of computing is the datacenter, and the network makes it all possible. NVIDIA is looking to grow its networking architecture team with people passionate about accelerated computing. We are looking for you, a Senior Networking Architect, to develop the next generation of network for AI. If you love researching new technologies, we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll be doing:

  • The position includes an active part in research and development of networking solutions to enable the next generation of accelerated data centers.

  • The position spans over various layers from ASIC design to algorithms, topologies and systems, and more.

  • Partner with internal teams, strategic partners, standard bodies and networking communities to initiate and develop groundbreaking networking solutions for AI!

What we need to see:

  • B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of previous industry or research experience in computer networks

  • Experience in developing ASICs and/or real-time software running on the ASICs

  • Proven understanding in networking and routing protocols, and their implementations

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Works and operates in a highly dynamic and multifaceted environment

  • Ability to work concurrently with multiple groups in the organization and with strategic partners

Ways to stand out of the crowd:

  • Deep knowledge in RDMA, with focus on RoCE

  • Understanding of various network topologies and their attributes

  • Understanding and experience with load balancing and congestion control algorithms

  • Proven practice of industry standards and/or the experience of working with standards organizations and/or open source communities

  • Strong skills with Python and/or C++

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4.
