Job Description
Link Solutions is seeking Network Administrators (Intermediate/Senior) to join our team in Orlando, FL.

The Network Administrator will support the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) headquarters and be responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and optimization of Government network infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations.
The Network Administrator will be responsible for administering, securing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, wireless networks, storage networking, and server connectivity. Working closely with systems administrators, cybersecurity teams, engineers, and operations personnel, this role ensures the availability, performance, and security of critical network services supporting Government customers. The ideal candidate will have experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba technologies, network troubleshooting, capacity planning, and compliance with cybersecurity requirements in enterprise environments.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier II/III network and desktop support for enterprise environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network connectivity, performance, and availability issues across multiple environments.
  • Install, configure, administer, support, and maintain network infrastructure, server hardware, software, operating systems, and associated peripherals.
  • Monitor network and server health, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure rapid and effective resolution.
  • Collect, analyze, and review network utilization and performance data to support capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Interface with vendors regarding procurement, maintenance, lifecycle management, and support of network and infrastructure technologies.
  • Support the development and delivery of user and technical training sessions to ensure effective utilization of network resources and services.
  • Administer and support enterprise networking technologies including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and associated management platforms.
  • Support and maintain Cisco ACI environments and wireless networking infrastructure.
  • Administer and support enterprise storage networking solutions, including NetApp, HPE storage area networks, and Fibre Channel SAN switches.
  • Collaborate with systems, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to implement network enhancements and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
  • Implement and maintain network security best practices and support compliance with applicable cybersecurity requirements and regulations.

Qualifications
Intermediate-Level:
  • U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.
  • Four (4+) years of experience supporting, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise networking environments.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA); Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred.
  • Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Junos (JNCIA-Junos).
  • VMware Certified Associate or equivalent virtualization experience.
  • Experience supporting Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba networking equipment.
  • Baseline certification required within six (6) months of hire if not already obtained.

Senior-Level:
  • U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.
  • Eight (8+) years of experience supporting, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise networking environments.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
  • Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Junos (JNCIA-Junos).
  • Experience supporting Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba networking equipment.
  • Extensive experience managing enterprise routing, switching, wireless, and network infrastructure technologies.
  • Baseline certification required within six (6) months of hire if not already obtained.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Service Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Microsoft certification supporting Windows 10, Windows 11, or Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administration.
  • Experience working within Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
  • Experience with knowledge management initiatives, process development, and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical systems and high-profile or VIP customers.
  • Experience with Cisco ACI, wireless controller technologies, and enterprise network architecture.
  • Experience with NetApp storage solutions, HPE SAN technologies, and Fibre Channel networking.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
