The OT Network Associate serves as a key liaison between Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) teams. This role works closely with the Network Administrator and Security Analyst to ensure OT network environments are secure, compliant, and aligned with EMCOR and company technology standards.

The successful candidate will help monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve OT network infrastructure while supporting cybersecurity initiatives, endpoint management, and network performance. This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational systems remain reliable, secure, and optimized for business operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Work directly with the Network Administrator and Security Analyst to maintain and support    OT network environments.

Assist with the deployment, monitoring, and verification of security tools including Tanium,   Cortex, and other approved endpoint protection platforms.

Monitor OT networks to ensure systems remain compliant with company and EMCOR    cybersecurity standards.

Troubleshoot network connectivity, endpoint communication, and infrastructure-related    issues impacting OT operations.

Assist with patch management activities to ensure network devices, endpoints, and security    applications remain up to date.

Serve as the primary liaison between IT and OT teams, facilitating communication and    coordination of technology initiatives.

Work with operational leaders to identify technology needs and ensure IT policies and    procedures support efficient business operations.

Participate in network assessments, audits, and remediation efforts.

   Monitor system health, availability, and performance to proactively identify and resolve    issues.

Document network configurations, procedures, and support activities.

Support implementation of cybersecurity controls and best practices across OT    environments.

Assist with inventory management and tracking of OT network assets.

Participate in incident response and troubleshooting efforts related to OT systems and    network infrastructure.

Support projects involving OT network expansion, upgrades, and technology deployments. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Information Technology, Network Administration, Cybersecurity, or a    related field, or equivalent work experience.

2+ years of experience supporting networks, infrastructure, or operational technology   environments.

Basic understanding of networking concepts including:    o TCP/IP    o DNS    o DHCP    o VLANs    o Switching and Routing    o Wireless Networking

Familiarity with endpoint management and security platforms.

Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Ability to read and understand network diagrams and technical documentation.

Perferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting industrial, OT, manufacturing, construction, or operational   environments.

Exposure to cybersecurity platforms such as Tanium, Cortex, Defender, Forescout, Tenable or   similar tools.

Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools.

Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, or CIS Controls.

Industry certifications such as:    o CompTIA Network+    o Security+    o Cisco CCNA    o Microsoft Fundamentals Certifications
