Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Connectivity Engineer to support large-scale data center infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for overseeing physical network connectivity deployment, vendor coordination, quality assurance, and project execution activities within a hyperscale data center environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage connectivity-related projects from initiation through production turnover.

  • Oversee rack, patch, and stack activities for network infrastructure deployments.

  • Perform and coordinate network provisioning, turn-up, and connectivity validation activities.

  • Conduct link audits, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and schedules are achieved.

  • Manage vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

  • Track materials, deliveries, and project progress.

  • Support change requests, RFIs, and project documentation.

  • Identify risks, remove roadblocks, and drive issue resolution.

  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in networking, telecommunications, ISP, or data center environments.

  • Strong experience with hyperscale data center connectivity and physical network infrastructure.

  • Hands-on experience with rack/patch/stack activities, link audits, and network provisioning.

  • Experience troubleshooting network turn-up and connectivity issues.

  • Strong vendor management and coordination skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting hyperscale data center environments.

  • Knowledge of OSP (Outside Plant) infrastructure.

  • Experience with large-scale network deployment projects.

  • Strong documentation, scheduling, and risk management skills.

  • Familiarity with QA/QC processes and audit management.
