Project Manager 

We have an opportunity for a Project Managerto join our Product Operationsteam in Burnaby reporting to the Director, Product and Business Operations. In this pivotal role, you willoversee and manage multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within high quality. Daily tasks will include planning project stages and assessing business implications, coordinating cross-functional teams, developing project plans, and communicating project status to stakeholders.You will also coordinate the work of others through both process creation and project management and be able to lead,communicateand organize effectively. Collaborating closely with Product Management, UX, Engineering/QA, Marketing, Finance, IT, Support and Pre-Sales teams, the Product Operations Teamis responsible fordriving the End-End operations in delivering the quality productsin a timely manner across various programs. 

Be a Contributor - What You'll Do 

  • Transform our current processes into interactive and user-friendly workflows and work with various stakeholders toidentifyand document the existing processesand associated workflows, analyze the gaps and areas for improvement
  • Manage New Product Introduction projects for the larger Product Organization which would entaildelivering quality productsin a timely mannerto the customers
  • Lead the Launches of the NPI/New Initiatives by collaborating with various Go-To-Market(GTM) teams
  • Use project management skills and leverage AI to keep the project on track and communicate the progress effectively with all stakeholder teams including executive management  
  • Lead projects withcollaboration across geographic teams
  • Demonstrate deeper knowledge ofcommonly usedconcepts,bestpractices and proceduresassociated with Program management and operations
  • Works independently with minimal instructions provided, using discretion onthe operational aspectsto perform the functions of the jobeffectively 

Be Prepared - What You Bring 

  • 5+years of experiencein program/project management ideally in the networking and security industry  
  • Very strongworking knowledge of Collaboration Tools like Atlassian/JIRA, Microsoft/Sharepoint, Teams etc
  • Good understanding and development of AI Agentic tools is strongly preferred
  • Desire to learn more about both business process Improvement, as well as project management; certifications in these fields can be pursued
  • Passionate about evaluating, synthesizing, organizing information  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Ability to self-motivate and take responsibility for personal growth and development  
  • Desire to learn and a receptiveness to feedback and mentoring  
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field 

Be Successful - Your Path 

First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Discuss and create short/long term goals. 

Six Months: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the operational aspects of the company's products you manage, identify the cross-product dependencies and work with stakeholder teams in their resolution while expanding the knowledge of the other products. Deliver multiple Product Roadmap objectives, user stories, and scenarios that outline customer needs and product requirements.  You will participate in collaborative and agile processes, be fully engaged in the Product Management, User Experience, Technical Marketing and other Customer-facing teams, while working with Engineering, Technical Program Management teams in owning the Product operations for End-End deliverables.  You will have delivered multiple Product Increment releases. 

One Year: Participate as a key contributor to the Operations team, help define the improvements in the processes, serve as a subject matter expert on the assigned areas of program management and be able to answer questions from any cross functional teams on the operational aspects of the Products. Participate and contribute to the Company-wide Employee Resource Groups, and any other Customer-oriented initiatives to be a more valuable part of organization
