Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Watch Officer to support a company focused on enterprise IT operations and network support for a large-scale Department of Defense environment. This position is on-site in Quantico, VA. The Network Watch Officer will provide Tier 1 operational monitoring, incident response, and technical support for mission-critical network infrastructure. This position would be an October 1, 2026 start date. Responsibilities for the Network Watch Officer include: * Monitor unclassified and classified enterprise networks, including email, voice, and official message traffic.
* Provide Tier 1 First Contact Resolution and after-hours Service Desk support, including routine operational checks and maintenance monitoring.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve or escalate incidents as appropriate.
* Open, manage, update, and close service tickets within established processes.
* Correlate network events and incidents to support effective IT service management and operational awareness. Required Qualifications for the Network Watch Officer include: * 3+ years of customer service experience in an IT environment.
* Experience with IT ticketing systems and enterprise network monitoring tools.
* 1+ year of experience with router and switch configuration and troubleshooting.
* Strong technical troubleshooting, incident management, and customer support skills.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Security+ Certification required.
* Active Secret Clearance required Compensation for the Network Watch Officer include: * Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
