Job description

Title: Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician Location: Silver Spring, MD (Onsite) Duration: 6 Months Contract with Possible Extension Job Summary: We are seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to support the monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure in a fast-paced operational environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Cisco networking, SolarWinds monitoring, and ServiceNow or other ticketing systems, along with strong troubleshooting and multitasking abilities. This role requires a U.S. Citizen who can obtain and maintain the required agency clearance. Required Qualifications: * 1-3 years of Network Operations Center (NOC) experience. * Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies. * Experience using SolarWinds for network monitoring and alert management. * Experience with ServiceNow or another IT ticketing system. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. * U.S. Citizenship is required. * Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance. Preferred Qualifications: * Cisco CCNA certification. * CompTIA certification (Network, Security, or equivalent). * Knowledge of network technologies, connectivity, routing, switching, protocols, and network security principles.
