Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Manager to lead enterprise-level network operations, engineering support, and systems integration across a global technical environment. This role oversees teams responsible for network engineering, hardware and software integration, system-level design, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership and hands-on expertise in modern network architectures, legacy system interoperability, and large-scale infrastructure planning.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Lead network operations and engineering teams in the design, integration, testing, and support of network hardware, software, and systems.
• Perform system-level design and configuration to ensure compatibility, scalability, and interoperability with existing platforms and legacy systems.
• Analyze network requirements and determine appropriate solutions for hardware, software, operating systems, and platform specifications.
• Support the planning and execution of large-scale network system projects, including vendor evaluations, cost/benefit analyses, and technology trade studies.
• Troubleshoot network systems and subsystems across global environments, identifying and resolving issues related to LAN, MPLS, WAN, and service availability.
• Provide guidance and leadership to network operations and engineering staff, fostering best practices and consistent support across dispersed locations.
• Recommend enhancements, improvements, and modernization strategies to strengthen network reliability, performance, and security.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Minimum of five years of experience supporting global network systems and subsystems, including troubleshooting LAN, MPLS, WAN, and network availability issues.
• At least five years of experience leading network operations or engineering teams in complex, enterprise-scale environments.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-level security clearance (or currently holding one).
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with risk management and recommending strategies to reduce operational costs or improve network performance.
• Experience supporting networks that interface with or operate within cloud environments.
• At least three years of hands-on experience with firewall administration, troubleshooting, and rule-set management, including platforms such as Palo Alto or other enterprise firewall solutions.
