Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 4-8+ years of related experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree)
IAT Level II (sec+ or equivalent)
Experience configuring and supporting: Switches, Routers, Firewalls or Load Balancers
Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and/or Dell network technologies
3+ years of Linux and/or Windows administration experience
Experience implementing network security controls and device hardening
Strong troubleshooting and network maintenance experience
Experience with documentation, configuration management, and change management processes Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience integrating Network Management (NM) and Element Management (EM) systems
Familiarity with network performance monitoring, trouble ticketing, and security subsystems
Experience with ServiceNow, Remedy, BMC, ITSM, or similar ticketing platforms

Insight Global is seeking a Network Administrator to sit at Fort Meade, MD! This candidate will support and maintain critical enterprise network infrastructure within a highly secure environment. The ideal individual will independently configure, troubleshoot, and secure network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements. This role will also contribute to large-scale network modernization efforts, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and provide architectural recommendations to improve overall network performance and reliability. Compensation:
$50/hr to $60/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law
