Job description

Position: Network Manager Location: Sterling, VA area Company: HVAC/BAS Service Provider Description: This is an exciting direct hire opportunity to work with an established company dedicated to growth, safety, and development. The Network Manager will oversee the performance, security, and reliability of a Cisco based network infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for managing network hardware, troubleshooting complex issues, implementing security protocols and leading network improvement initiatives.

The role also includes some vendor coordination, capacity planning, and supporting operations within a mission critical environment. Requirements: - 3+ years of network administration experience in Cisco environments, experience with Cisco and Juniper technologies, and exposure to data center or building automation systems. -Experience with Juniper and or Cisco switch configuration required -Use of network analysis tool for traffic (Wireshark or similar) -Use of network testing tools - Fiber loss, CAT6 testing -Knowledgeable in cybersecurity initiatives.
