THE WORK:
  • You'll review engineering deliverables for constructability, sequencing, and installation feasibility.
  • You'll identify potential construction risks, conflicts, and inefficiencies in design.
  • You'll provide recommendations to improve field execution, safety, and productivity.
  • You'll support alignment between engineering design and construction execution.
  • You'll advise the Company on construction execution strategies, phasing, and sequencing.
  • You'll evaluate EPC supplier construction plans and methodologies for completeness, practicality, and alignment with project schedule and constraints.
  • You'll provide insight into site logistics, work packaging, and field productivity.
  • You'll identify early warning indicators of execution risk or inefficiencies.
  • You'll support review of EPC supplier construction-related submittals, including work plans, installation procedures, and temporary works.
  • You'll assess submittals for constructability, completeness, clarity, and alignment with contract documents.
  • You'll provide recommendations to the Company for acceptance, comments, or rejection.
  • You'll support the Company in reviewing and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • You'll evaluate RFIs for technical completeness, constructability implications, and potential cost and schedule impacts.
  • You'll assist in formulating clear, coordinated Company responses.
  • You'll observe construction activities to validate alignment with approved plans and submittals.
  • You'll identify execution issues or deviations and provide advisory input on work sequencing, trade coordination, and productivity trends.
  • You'll coordinate with PMO project controls to align field observations with performance metrics.
  • You'll identify construction-related risks and contribute to the project risk register.
  • You'll support development and tracking of mitigation actions.
  • You'll provide advisory input on cost and schedule exposure related to field execution.
  • You'll collaborate with project controls, contract management, and document control functions.
  • You'll ensure construction insights are integrated into risk register updates, progress reports, and governance reporting.
  • You'll maintain a collaborative, non-intrusive working relationship with the EPC supplier.
  • You'll support evaluation of construction completion and system readiness for commissioning.
  • You'll identify deficiencies impacting mechanical completion and system turnover.
  • You'll provide advisory support during punch list development and project closeout activities.

Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'll NEED:
  • Minimum 15 years of construction experience on large EPC industrial projects
  • Demonstrated experience with compressor stations, gas plants, power plants, or refineries
  • Proven background in field construction management, execution oversight, and constructability reviews
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, work packaging, and mechanical, civil, electrical, and I&C installation practices
  • Experience with commissioning and turnover processes on EPC projects
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with client personnel, EPC suppliers, and project teams
  • Must be capable of reporting daily, in person, to the project site in Moreno Valley, California
  • Valid driver's license

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Experience supporting large natural gas or energy infrastructure EPC programs in an owner's representative or PMO capacity
  • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent construction safety training
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other project management and scheduling systems
  • Experience with company-side oversight roles, including independent validation and audit functions
  • Previous experience supporting commissioning, energization planning, and project turnover activities
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to natural gas infrastructure projects

$150,000 - $178,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
