Job description

A large global consulting organization is hiring a Senior IT Project Manager for a long-term W2 contract role based in Phoenix, AZ (onsite preferred). This role will support an Azure-focused infrastructure team responsible for enabling software delivery across a growing portfolio of transportation modernization projects. The environment includes Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, and enterprise-scale infrastructure supporting modern application platforms.
In this role, you will help establish a newly embedded infrastructure function aligned directly with software delivery teams. You will oversee infrastructure initiatives tied to application development, improve coordination between operations and engineering, and bring structure to how infrastructure work is planned and tracked. They are looking for someone who has led Azure infrastructure projects, can operate in a cross-functional environment, and enjoys building process and alignment across teams.
Contract Duration: 2 years
Required Skills & Experience
  • ย 5+ years of IT Project or Program Management experience
  • ย Strong experience managing Azure infrastructure or cloud-based projects
  • ย Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (tracking, user stories, ticketing)
  • ย Experience working in Agile environments supporting software delivery
