IT Support Specialist Intern โ€“ Network Infrastructure

Position Overview:

Choctaw Global LLC is seeking two (2) IT Support Specialist Interns to provide hands-on support for physical network infrastructure. This role offers practical experience working with networking hardware and troubleshooting connectivity issues, while maintaining reliable network performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including switches, routers, and cabling
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and support network performance and reliability
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and upgrades of network infrastructure
  • Assist with documentation and network inventory tracking

Qualifications:

  • Experience and/or coursework in network setup and troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, switching, routing)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to enterprise networking environments
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash or PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals

Work Environment:

  • This role is in-person and onsite.
