Job description

Sr. Network Engineer with enterprise experience in Nexus 2-9k, Cisco Router and Switches, Design/Engineer/Administer, BGP, EIRGP, Data Center, VPN and GRE tunneling.
Duration: 6+ months
Location : Irvine, CA
Must be able to relocate and start in 2 weeks.
Excellent communications is a must! Client will phone screen and face to face.
Job Description:
• Provide support to Operating Companies for their infrastructure - comprised of Cisco Nexus, Catalyst Switches, Cisco Routers and firewalls.
• Accurately document all aspects of networking infrastructure.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies.
• Perform upgrades, new installations, enhancements and configuration changes as needed.
• Monitor Daily operations and troubleshoot problems.
• Operate, monitor, maintain and support data center infrastructure equipment.
• Adhere to corporate change management policies and procedures.
• Work on cross-department and cross-company projects.
