Oakmont, PA - Regular, Full-time; Salary, Exempt; evening hours and weekends as needed

Starting Salary: $80,700 - $114,000, depending on experience

The Senior Network Engineer is the primary on-site role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure across multiple sites. The role ensures high availability, security, and performance of enterprise networks while supporting business continuity and scalability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience managing complex network environments.

Requirements for the Senior Network Engineer: 

  • Must reside in Western PA within a reasonable daily commute of our Oakmont, PA campus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred**.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in network engineering roles.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site network environments.
  • Expertise working with common networking protocols and technologies including but not limited to: TCP/IP, STP, SNMP, SMB, 802.X, IP routing protocols, SSH, SFTP, routers, switches, access points, and gateways.
  • Experience programming firewalls, intrusion detection solutions and other network monitoring technologies.
  • Experience with supporting data/telephony and video security technologies within a multi-building environment. Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and SD-WAN solutions is a plus.
  • Supervise the Lead Network Engineer to decide the best way to resolve and support the user community.
