About the role

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to join our FCM Travel Solutions team in Dublin. This role is central to our growth strategy, focused on identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities across Ireland.

As a BDM, you will take ownership of the full sales cycle - from lead generation through to closing deals - using a mix of prospecting, networking, and relationship-building activities. You'll engage with key decision-makers, deliver compelling presentations, and position FCM's innovative travel solutions to meet client needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating and qualifying new business leads through LinkedIn, networking, outreach, and cold calling
  • Managing and converting a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly targets
  • Leading client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Supporting RFP/RFQ processes and driving successful bid outcomes
  • Building strong relationships with prospects, clients, and internal stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate sales activity and pipeline data within Salesforce
  • Staying up to date with market trends, competitors, and FCM's product offering
  • Representing FCM at networking events, conferences, and client functions

This is a high-impact role where your success directly contributes to business growth, supported by a collaborative and high-performing sales team.

About you

You are a motivated, commercially minded sales professional with a passion for building relationships and delivering results. You thrive in a target-driven environment and bring energy, resilience, and a proactive approach to winning new business.

You'll bring:

  • Proven sales experience (3+ years), ideally within a B2B environment
  • A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Confidence in prospecting, cold outreach, and pipeline development
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex solutions
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • High levels of self-motivation, discipline, and time management
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and maximise opportunities
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and structured sales processes
