Position Location: Tampa, FL
Onsite: Full Time (occasional Telework)

ReMilNet, LLC is seeking a qualified Network Engineer to support a Special Operations Communications Systems program. This program supports deployable satellite communications and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems and information/data exchanges between headquarters, their subordinate units, and other government agencies and activities associated with Special Operations Forces. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design, test, and delivery of deployable secure IP network based systems, developing technical data package and test plans, assisting the identification and resolution of technical issues, building and testing virtual machines, and the ability to work independently and in team settings in support of program milestone and delivery timelines.

This position requires a motivated, team player with a detail driven personality that works well supporting a diverse staff across multiple functional areas and locations.

Position Duties:

  • Perform technical analysis to develop requirements, material solution design, and system testing of new and existing networks and supported systems.
  • Develop technical documents that include: Technical Data Packages, Test Plans, Network Diagrams, briefs, and similar network related information.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and equipment with leadership, field service representatives, and technical staff in support of network systems and components.
  • Identify and recommend remediation strategies in support of milestone and program deliverable schedules.
  • Coordinate, manage, and support IPT and Working Group meetings and support technical documentation/system reviews.
  • Provide general programmatic support as identified.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree (Masterโ€™s Degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 12 years experience in design, development, test, and/or lead/supervisory roles in network engineering positions across all OSI networking layers, to include supporting tasks related to routing, switching, security, hardware configuration, virtualization, payloads, cloud, etc.
  • Preferred experience in support of SATCOM equipment, technologies, and networks.
  • Desired Certifications (or similar): Security +, Network +, CCNA, CCNP, etc.
  • Minimum Secret Clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
