2185 - 3727 - Network Systems Engineer
DeRoyal's corporate office in Powell, TN is seeking a skilled Network Systems Engineer to support and maintain our enterprise IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of network systems, servers, end-user computing environments, and telecommunications platforms. The ideal candidate is hands-on, solutions-oriented, and comfortable supporting a diverse user base within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot PC workstations, laptops, servers, printers, and peripherals
  • Provide technical support to end users both onsite and remotely
  • Administer LAN/WAN infrastructure, VPN connectivity, internet access, and firewall systems
  • Support network security platforms such as SonicWall and Cisco Meraki
  • Configure and maintain Windows-based servers, domain controllers, and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Monitor system and network performance and proactively reduce downtime
  • Manage system backups, recovery processes, and data protection solutions
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues
  • Recommend technology solutions aligned with business needs
  • Participate in after-hours support, scheduled maintenance, and on-call rotations
  • Travel to remote facilities as needed

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with 2+ years of related experience, or 4+ years of equivalent experience
  • CompTIA A+ certification required
  • At least one Windows OS certification (Windows 10 or Windows Server 2012/2016/2019)
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
