MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Systems Engineer Senior, the work youll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of US Army/NETCOM. You will play a crucial role in the engineering and support of the U-SIEM task..

  • Support the U-SIEM Engineering Team and its customers to ensure mission deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate with with the members of the team and coordinate with the customer as directed by the Task Lead.
  • Drive timely completions of work with the ability to adapt to changes in tasking assignments.
  • Solve varies technical issues.
  • Adapt to new technical challenges through research and professional abilities. Work effectively as part of a large, distributed team.
  • Utilize Linux OS platform, VMWare virtualization and SIEMs as part of your day to day responsibilities.


WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Systems Engineer Principal must have:

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with Internet, web, application, and network security techniques.
  • Possess an IAT level III certification (CASP, SecurityX, CISSP, etc..).
  • A working knowledge of Linux operating systems is required.
  • Knowledge of Elastic would be preferred.
  • Five years experience writing technical reports related to Authorization & Accreditation (A&A), System Security Plans (SSP), security policies, or guidance.
  • Technical skills: Demonstrated proficiency with Linux, Virtualization platforms and SIEMs.
  • Security clearance level: Secret
  • Role requirements: Literate in popular flavors of Linux. A keen understanding of virtualization platforms is strongly preferred.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $88,130 - $117,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
