Job Description

Link Solutions is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team in Sierra Vista, AZ. 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a Secret Clearance
  • Non-Remote (relocation incentive available)

As an IT Project Manager, you will support the Enterprise Strategic mission by delivering project management services to the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) at Fort Huachuca. In this role, you will oversee the planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and technical/operational support of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN), including the NonClassified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), and Deployed Forces (DF) environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead capability management by defining vision, direction, and modernization priorities for Army organizations, shaping IT infrastructure and services to create a unified and missionaligned IT environment.
  • Ensure NETCOM can operate, manage, and defend the Army's portion of the DODIN in coordination with joint and combined forces.
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate project and working group meetings with stakeholders to track progress, identify requirements, resolve issues, and coordinate milestones.
  • Synchronize project requirements across all lifecycle phases, including site survey, staging, installation, testing, and training, while ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise in the development and maintenance of project plans and integrated master schedules for government review and approval.
  • Develop and maintain detailed MS Project schedules, including activity lists, timelines, schedule dates, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) that accurately track project activities and deliverables.
  • Monitor, track, and document project implementation activities in accordance with established government standards, guidelines, and reporting procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including equipment inventories, configuration details, and Tier III support procedures.
  • Support the development of resource plans by contributing to cost estimates for software and hardware procurement, maintenance, and contracted services for current and future fiscal years.
  • Assist with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Networthiness compliance by supporting the development, update, and submission of required documentation and completing all associated artifacts.

Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a secret clearance.
  • IAT Level II certification or higher per DoD 8570/8140 (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).
  • Four (4+) years of project management experience AND a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management in a related field; OR six (6+) years of technical experience in place of the degree requirement.
  • Experience as a Project Manager and Lead IT Enterprise Management experience in an IT help desk-centric environment.  
  • Experience in information technology that includes areas such as desktop hardware, operating systems, office productivity software, computer networking-Local Area Network (LAN) /Wide Area Network (WAN), servers, SharePoint, virtual machines, and video teleconferencing.
  • Management experience in the IT field (technical and project).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Project, Remedy/ITSM, and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.  

Preferred: 

  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • PMP/PMI (Project Management Professional) Certification.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification.
  • Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations, including capabilities, tools, procedures, and operational constructs.
  • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
