Job description

We are seeking a motivated SOC Watch Officer to support enterprise cybersecurity operations in a fast-paced federal environment. The successful candidate will help protect mission-critical systems while collaborating with technical and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead SOC operations, monitor security events, coordinate incident response, mentor analysts, ensure SLA compliance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve cybersecurity issues while following established procedures.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, reports, and briefings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture.
  • Support compliance with federal cybersecurity standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Three 3+ years supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Any one of CASP, CCSP, SSCP, GMON, GCIH, GCIA, or GCED plus a DoD 8570/8140 CSSP Analyst, Infrastructure Support, or Incident Responder certification.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • 6 years equivalent experience may substitute for one certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
