Microsoft.NET/SQL Developer

We need an experienced Microsoft.NET/SQL Developer. This position will support the Payroll Benefits Project. This individual will be involved in the analysis, design, implementation and support of this project.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: (4+ years)

    • Integration Services (SSIS)
    • ASP NET
    • AJAX
    • Classic ASP (VBScript)
    • CSS
    • HTML/XHTML
    • JavaScript
    • XML/XSL
    • Visual Studio
    • MS SQL Server
    • Stored Procedures
    • MS Office Automation
  • Experience Requirements: 4 years of Web development experience in a Microsoft environment.
  • Proven skills in organization, prioritization, time-management and decision-making.
  • Good oral & written communications skills.
  • Good knowledge and experience in the SDLC (system Design Life Cycle).
  • Ability to analyze requirements and develop design specifications (working with business and IT contacts).
  • Extensive experience with technical software development (understanding online and batch concepts. Fluent in best practices).
  • Good knowledge on database design and performance concepts.
  • Ability to develop, execute and document test scripts.
  • Adhere to standards for software development and change management.
  • Provide production system support as necessary.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Working knowledge of Web Services.
  • Payroll Business knowledge required.
  • Working hours: Onsite Indiana Harbor M-F 8-5pm (occasional off hour support).
  • BS Degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Requirements:

  • MS Degree in Computer Science.
  • IBM Certifications.
