CNC Laser Operator – 1st Shift

Location: St. Louis, MO

Job Type: Full-Time | 1st Shift

Pay: $20–$26 per hour, based on experience

Job Summary

Servco is looking for a CNC Laser Nesting Software Operator to support our laser cutting operations. This role is responsible for preparing laser cut programs, creating material nests, organizing files, and helping make sure parts are cut accurately and efficiently for the fabrication team.

Experience with Striker Systems Software or other nesting software is preferred, but we are open to candidates with experience in CAD/CAM, sheet metal, or manufacturing environments who are willing to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Program CNC laser jobs using Striker Systems Software

• Create efficient nests to help reduce scrap and improve material usage

• Review shop drawings, fabrication prints, and CAD files

• Prepare and release cut programs for production

• Keep laser programs, files, and revisions organized

• Communicate with shop leads, designers, and production team members

• Help troubleshoot programming, part fit, or cut quality issues

• Support improvements in nesting, cycle time, and shop efficiency

• Make sure programs match current drawings and revision-controlled documents

• Follow company safety procedures and shop standards
