Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Nephrology Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Requirements: Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required. Charge expereince is a HUGE plus. Should be familiar with Central line care and management, foley care and management, end of life care and management. In relation to the nephrology portion, they should know how to care for a dialysis site properly (for example, not using an HD cath or attempting to access a fistula for blood draws).

Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below                
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel                
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.

Job Summary: Under general supervision, the RN Nephrology provides nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex. The RN is responsible for delegating tasks to support staff and making referrals as needed.
Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a Board Approved Program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
 

  • Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
  • Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
