Job description

We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for FALL 2026 interns in NY & LA.

NEON internships are built around real work, the kind that actually appears in the world and moves the needle for films we believe in. For students who want to understand how independent film really works from the inside, there's no better place to build meaningful connections and get mentored by people who genuinely love what they do.

We're looking for curious, driven students who are excited to dive into the world of independent film, particularly in the realm of distibution, and who are ready to contribute from day one. Whether your interests lie in marketing, publicity, sales, acquisitions, or distribution, we'll place you where your skills and passions can shine. This program is designed to empower you to highlight your talents while building a solid foundation for our future careers.

This internship is part of NEON's Undergraduate Internship Program, which gives you more than a single-team experience. Beyond working closely with your assigned team, you'll take part in structured programming, get cross-functional exposure across the company, and go through professional development alongside a cohort of fellow interns.

Requirements

To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.

What we're looking for:

  • Cultural fluency - you're plugged into what's happening in film, media, and the broader cultural conversation
  • Comfort with social media platforms and familiarity with the creator landscape
  • Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize information quickly

Prior internship or work experience in film or entertainment is a plus, and we strongly encourage those candidates to apply.
