NDT Level II Inspector (Magnetic Particle / Penetrant)

Location: Fort Worth, TX area
Industry: Aerospace / Precision Manufacturing
Schedule: Full-time

A growing precision manufacturing company supporting the aerospace and industrial sectors is seeking an NDT Level II Inspector to join their Quality team. This role is responsible for performing non-destructive testing to ensure forged components meet strict engineering and customer specifications.

This is a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment where quality and safety are critical.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform non-destructive testing inspections using Fluorescent Penetrant (PT) and Magnetic Particle (MT) methods

  • Conduct routine equipment verification and calibration checks to ensure testing systems meet required standards

  • Inspect forged components for defects and discontinuities in accordance with engineering drawings and inspection procedures

  • Identify and document any non-conforming conditions or material defects

  • Accurately record inspection results and maintain required quality documentation

  • Issue NDT inspection certifications for accepted parts

  • Communicate inspection results and quality findings with production supervisors and quality leadership

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to confirm part compliance

  • Maintain organized inspection records and ensure traceability of inspection activities

  • Support development of written inspection procedures and testing techniques for MT processes

  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment


Qualifications
  • Current NDT Level II certification (Magnetic Particle and/or Fluorescent Penetrant)

  • Minimum 1–2 years of NDT inspection experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience performing MT and PT inspections on metal components

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

  • Basic computer skills for inspection documentation and reporting

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Completion of 40 hours of NDT training under a Level III preferred


Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
