Job description

Level II NDT Inspector

System One is seeking a qualified Level II NDT Inspector for a full-time opportunity in Clairton, PA. This position is responsible for performing nondestructive testing (NDT) inspections to verify the integrity of materials, equipment, and structures while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, client specifications, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in performing industrial NDT inspections in accordance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Level II nondestructive examinations using:
    • Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
    • Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
    • Visual Testing (VT)
    • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Conduct inspections in accordance with written procedures, industry codes, and SNT-TC-1A requirements.
  • Evaluate inspection results and prepare accurate, detailed inspection reports.
  • Communicate findings with project managers, engineers, and quality personnel.
  • Complete and submit all required documentation before leaving the job site.
  • Maintain inspection equipment and ensure proper calibration when required.
  • Follow all company safety policies, client requirements, and PPE standards.
