Job Title: Physician Assistant

Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year

The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Provides clinical care in both ambulatory and inpatient setting supporting wound care management, coordination with surgical team and surgical procedure support,

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wound Management & Procedures
  • Perform debridement of wounds in the OR and at the bedside
  • Apply negative pressure wound therapy; wound vac

Inpatient Rounding:

  • Conduct daily rounds on wound consults and follow up on established inpatients
  • Optimize wound care treatment plans for potential OR debridement

Surgical Coordination & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the supervising physician and an additional NP
  • Manage a shared patient load of approximately 15 patients per day

Schedule & Work Environment:

  • Work Hours: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • On-Call Responsibilities: None,
  • Support Staff: Collaborate with a supervising MD and another NP,
  • EMR System: EPIC

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Experience in wound care and general surgery preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Required (APN/NP):

  • Current APN Certification
  • Current RN NJ state license
  • CDS
  • DEA
  • Current BLS and ACLS

Required (Physician Assistant):

  • Current Physician Assistant Certification 
  • CDS 
  • DEA
  • Current BLS and ACLS

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of experience in advanced wound care highly preferred
  • Wound Care Certification (CWS, WCC, WOCN) is a plus
