Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud & DevOps Software Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-grade cloud solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with deep Java full-stack expertise, strong cloud architecture experience, and a proven track record deploying scalable solutions in AWS and hybrid cloud environments.
What You'll Do
Architect, design, and implement cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions using AWS and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
Lead full lifecycle software development efforts with a focus on microservices, serverless, and modern web applications (AngularJS, React, SPAs).
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Drive CI/CD automation, code quality, testing, and deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Deploy XL/Release, Subversion, Jira).
Apply cloud security best practices including IAM, WAF, OWASP standards, and secure architecture design.
Optimize monitoring and logging strategies using tools such as ELK, Splunk, and CloudWatch.
Serve as a technical SME and mentor within a high-velocity Agile DevOps environment.
Contribute actively to Agile ceremonies including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
What You Bring
8+ years of progressive IT experience with 6+ years in software development and 2+ years focused on cloud architecture and implementation.
2+ years deploying OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerized solutions.
2+ years designing and deploying cloud and hybrid cloud solutions.
Strong Java full-stack engineering expertise and modern cloud-native architecture knowledge (Well-Architected Framework, 12-Factor App, microservices).
Experience with API integration (REST, API Gateway, MuleSoft).
Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and mentor development teams.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Master's degree in Information Technology (or related field) or equivalent experience preferred.
AWS Certification (Developer or Solutions Architect) preferred.
Finance industry experience is a plus.
