Position Summary

As an Estate Claims Specialist, you will play a key role in processing and filing estate-related claims nationwide. You'll ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of probate documentation while contributing to critical quality control and estate research functions. This position blends independent work with team collaboration and requires excellent attention to detail. 

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities

Prepare, process, and accurately file probate claims across multiple jurisdictions.

Serve as an authorized company signatory and notarize claims (requires/notary commissioned or company-commissioned).

Prepare claims to meet varying court requirements and record-keeping standards.

Manage the mailing process for claims, including Certified Mail when required.

Conduct quality control reviews of estate data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Perform estate match reviews to verify correct alignment with client information.

Process returned claims efficiently and support senior claims staff as needed.

Respond to internal client requests (Operations, Client Liaisons, Account Reps).

Prepare filing fee checks to accompany claim packages.

Research missing or incomplete estate data to maintain an accurate proprietary database.

Assist with post-claim documents including releases, satisfaction forms, and withdrawals.

Maintain compliance with company information security, privacy guidelines, and client-specific requirements.

Complete other administrative or operations-related duties as assigned.


Required Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Beginner to mid-level computer proficiency.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and organization.

Ability to independently manage tasks while also working effectively in team-oriented processes.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Ability to sit for extended periods during the workday.

Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism with internal and external stakeholders.
