POSITION: Line Cook
REPORTS TO: Crew Chief
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Line Cook is to perform the full cooking process in a high-volume setting while maintaining quality and consistency using the locations assigned recipes and instructions.  Ensures that the cooking station and preparation area is meeting all set sanitation guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Setting up and stocking workstation with minimal supervision
  • Executing menu items from start to finish - including but not limited to preparation of ingredients, cooking, and plating of menu items
  • Mastering more than one specific station
  • Honing your existing skills and building new ones by learning new techniques
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations during peak hours
  • Maintaining cleanliness of any B.O.H. work areas, including but not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas
  • Participating in daily and regular deep cleaning of B.O.H. work areas, including but not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Able to read, speak, comprehend and understand English
  • Able to talk and hear directions in a loud kitchen environment and follow instructions
  • 2-years of related high-volume food service with multi-tasking experience is preferred
  • Availability to work days, nights, and weekends in accordance with Fuzzies and Baltimore Orioles schedules, Monday to Sunday
  • Reliable transportation is a MUST
  • A passion for food and dedication to customer experience is ideal
  • Positive attitude is a MUST - professional composure, being a team player, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior even in difficult situations
  • Responsible work ethic - this role requires being punctual, dependable, trustworthy, and thorough in completing all work obligations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, and lift 30+ pounds
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization and a strong sense of personal hygiene
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • $17.95 per hour
  • 100% shift meal
