The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled attorney with deep experience in litigation, claims management, and, critical discovery strategy and execution to support our representation of a large, national logistics services provider.This is a dynamic role that operates at the intersection of litigation strategy, large-scale discovery, and national claims oversight. The ideal candidate is not only experienced, but agile, someone who can quickly pivot between priorities, manage competing deadlines, and proactively identify risks and opportunities across a complex, multi-jurisdictional docket.You will play a key role in shaping discovery approaches, driving efficient processes, and partnering closely with clients and colleagues in a high-volume, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a nationwide litigation caseload from inception through resolution in a fast-moving environment
  • Conduct thorough investigations and proactively spot discovery issues unique to each case
  • Develop and craft strategic discovery responses tailored to individual cases while ensuring alignment with overarching national litigation strategies
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate discovery processes to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation
  • Manage and continuously improve a national claims program, identifying efficiencies and scalable solutions
  • Partner closely with attorneys, partners, and client to develop case strategy and discovery plans
  • Collaborate across offices and practice groups to deliver seamless, team-oriented service
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, emerging legal issues, and evolving client needs

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in at least one state
  • 5+ years of litigation and experience
  • Strong discovery experience required
  • Experience handling multi-jurisdictional litigation and/or national claims programs preferred
  • Background in transportation, logistics, trucking, or related regulatory frameworks preferred
  • Familiarity with emerging e-commerce or gig economy legal issues is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Strong client counseling and relationship management skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced technical proficiency with litigation and discovery tools
