THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST T32, PDD1872000 and is part of the AZ 162nd Wing, National Guard.

This position is located at the 162D Wing in Tucson, Arizona. The primary purpose of the position is to provide management with objectively based information to effectively assess the squadron's ability to meet the operations, training, and readiness missions in support of fielding a complex air ground operations tactical communications-electronics weapons system. Developing all commander support staff programs and providing direction guidance and clarification to administrative personnel ensuring effective and efficient implementation.

  • ARIZONA AIR NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. Prior to appointment into this position, selectee must be a current member of the Arizona Air National Guard, in a military position assigned to 162D.
  • This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.
  • Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
  • Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
  • Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.
  • Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
  • May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
  • Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
  • Incumbent must possess and maintain a current state driver's license.
  • This position is subject to overnight/ rotating shifts.
  • This position is being concurrently announced as AGR; announcement number 26-073AT.

Qualifications
Military Grades: SMSgt/E-8 (immediately promotable) to CMSgt/E-9
Compatible Military Assignments: Must possess or be able to obtain AFSC 9G100
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience analyzing and interpreting policies and the procedures of higher headquarters/management as to applicability to current policies. Experience presenting and discussing complex matters in a clear and convincing manner. Experience in communicating with people from various backgrounds and circumstances. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
Education
You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
