THE COMPANY:

STACK INFRASTRUCTURE (STACK) provides digital infrastructure to scale the world's most innovative companies. We are an award-winning industry leader in building, owning, and operating highly efficient, cost-effective wholesale, colocation, and cloud data centers. Each of our national facilities meets or exceeds the highest industry standards in all operational categories of availability, security, connectivity, and physical resilience.

STACK offers the scale and geographic reach that rapidly growing hyperscale and enterprise companies need. The world runs on data. Data runs on STACK.

THE POSITION:

STACK is seeking an experienced and highly organized Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and some external events that elevate the STACK brand and create exceptional experiences for employees, clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. This role is responsible for managing events from concept through execution, ensuring each experience aligns with the organization's values, business objectives, and brand identity.

Reporting to the Director, STACK Experience, the Events Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, internal teams, and external vendors to deliver impactful events that advance business growth, strengthen client engagement, and reinforce company culture.

This role requires strong communication, project management, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lead the planning and execution of departmental events, executive meetings, conferences, and internal programs
  • Partner closely with leadership, marketing, and project teams to define event goals, scope, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, caterers, production teams, and external partners to ensure seamless event execution
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail and service excellence
  • Develop and manage event budgets and track expenses against established business objectives
  • Identify risks, troubleshoot issues proactively, and implement solutions to ensure successful outcomes
  • Coordinate logistics including travel, scheduling, registration, shipping, materials, and onsite support
  • Gather feedback and post-event metrics to evaluate success and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders across different geographic regions
  • Support the development of innovative event concepts and engagement opportunities that enhance the STACK brand experience
  • Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and proactive follow-through on all assigned projects
  • Manage the development, ordering, inventory, and distribution of branded materials, signage, swag, and event collateral to ensure consistent brand representation across all events and programs.

THE DETAILS:

  • Location: Denver, CO
  • Onsite/WFH Expectations: in office 3 days/wk
  • Travel: Moderate travel required based on event schedule/need
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass comprehensive background screening

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years related work experience
  • Proven experience planning and executing corporate events, conferences, or client-facing programs
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, timelines, and logistics
  • Professional-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Asana
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and departments

Compensation Range:

$115,540.00 - $128,260.00

THIS MIGHT BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF:

  • You are a strong communicator, you are persuasive and clear, blending analytics with experience in decision-making.

  • You do not get flustered easily. You can juggle multiple priorities while balancing urgent requests with shifting timelines and deliverables.

  • You are a team builder. You take the time to understand and develop the strengths of your resources while formulating long-term plans for the growth and success of the team.

  • You are naturally curious and driven toward continual improvement. While you celebrate your successes, you take time to review and analyze campaigns for future learning.

WHY STACK?

  • We offer a competitive compensation package with strong benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K program, flexible spending accounts - even a cell phone subsidy.

  • We foster a culture of appreciation, including peer-to-peer recognition and rewards programs.

  • Fun is part of our DNA, with events, game nights, happy hours, and barbecues.
