Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a rock structure near Morrison, Colorado, where concerts are given in the open-air Amphitheatre. Red Rocks Amphitheater is a naturally formed, one of the world's most iconic music venues and top rated, we elevate our standards of service and hospitality to match the legendary status of Red Rocks Amphitheatre located in Morrison, Co. Aramark supports our clients by providing a high level of attention to detail and outstanding customer service in all that we do. 

Our Cooks are responsible for cooking and preparing food according to recipes ad production guidelines while adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. Cooks will safely handle knives and equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, broilers, etc. 

Our ideal candidate is an individual that is reliable, prompt, and has the ability to multi-task as our kitchens are the beating heart of our operation. 

This employee will have the ability to work holidays, overtime, nights and/or weekends (as needed). 

This position is considered an Hourly/Part-Time Employee

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $22.75 to $24.25. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Cooks and prepares food following production guidelines and standardized recipes 
  • Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment 
  • Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items 
  • Safely uses all food utensils including knives 
  • Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc. 
  • Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meats, vegetables, and other foods 
  • Arranges, garnishes, and portions food following established guidelines 
  • Properly stores food by following food safety policies and procedures 
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc. 
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation 
  • Always maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift 
  • Ensures security of company assets 
  • Accepts constructive feedback and provides ideas, concerns to and from leadership

Qualifications
  • 18 years of age or older (Required) 
  • Previous experience as a cook or related role (Preferred) 
  • TEAM/ServSafe Alcohol Certification (Preferred) - will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed) 
  • ServSafe or Food Safety Certification equivalent (Required) - will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed) 
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50lbs. 
  • Demonstrates basic math and counting skills 
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Willingness to accept change and new procedures 
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes 

This role will have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role also may be outside so may be exposed to sun and other inclement weather. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of PPE.
