Overview S

We are seeking a Category Manager to lead sourcing, supplier negotiations, category strategy, and procurement initiatives supporting transportation, logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations. This role will drive supplier performance, cost savings, contract management, and strategic sourcing efforts across a large multi-site network.

Must Have

• 5+ years of category management, strategic sourcing, procurement, logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience
• Executive-facing communication and presentation experience
• End-to-end logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution sourcing experience
• Supplier negotiation and contract management experience
• RFP, RFQ, vendor evaluation, bid analysis, and supplier selection experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, etc.
• Business case development, ROI modeling, financial analysis, cost savings initiatives

Nice to Have

• Transportation category management experience
• Logistics procurement experience
• Freight, warehousing, or distribution category ownership
• Supply chain transformation or network optimization project experience

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract execution, and category management initiatives supporting transportation, logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations
• Manage RFPs, RFQs, vendor evaluations, scorecarding, supplier performance, and contract administration activities
• Build executive-level business cases, ROI models, financial analyses, and savings recommendations
• Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Warehousing, Distribution, Finance, and Procurement leadership teams
• Identify cost savings, supplier optimization opportunities, risk mitigation strategies, and operational improvements
• Manage key vendor relationships supporting significant annual spend while helping drive procurement strategy across a national network
