Job Summary: 

Alto Staffing is looking for a talented, experienced business development professional. We offer an exciting opportunity to join one of the most well-respected staffing organizations in Ohio. Essential Job Functions: 

The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying and generating new business through outside sales activities such as prospecting, telemarketing, cold calls, and relationship building. The Business Development Representative is accountable for focusing on and generating business through new sales. 

Job Responsibilities:  

Utilize cold calling to generate new sales opportunities, making 100 phone calls per day, proactively seek new business opportunities in the market 

Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate services 

Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities 

Make formal sales presentations and follow-up calls to prospective new business accounts.  

Collaborate with internal service staff to ensure that accounts sold are consistent with service resources and candidate pool.  

Connect with appropriate field management to establish pricing for quotes and bids that are consistent with the company’s financial objectives.  

Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all services offered by Alto Staffing and awareness of the competition. 

Meet/exceed performance expectations including weekly calls, appointments, and GP dollars 

Organize weekly sales efforts utilizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including all contacts, activities, appointments, and opportunities.  

Qualifications:  

The ideal candidate will possess the following:  

Proficiency with CRM software 

Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience 

2-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets 

Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotes 

Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills 

Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills 

Staffing or recruiting experience a plus
