Role: Software & Simulation Engineering / Facility Operations Support
Location: NASA Ames Research Center – Moffett Field, CA / Remote

Overview

Bring your expertise to Metis Technology Solutions, a highly innovative small business providing high end solutions to the NASA, US Space Force Space Systems Command, and other customers where you can make a difference now and into the future. Metis is recruiting incumbent applicants for software and ATMS capabilities support NASA ARTS customers.


The annual base salary range for these positions in Mountain View, CA is $90,000 - $220,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Metis considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

About the Work

Personnel in these roles will support the ARTS Program Software Facilities, ATMS, and associated operational environments, which include simulation, software integration, facility operations, and mission‑critical technical services. Duties may include:

  • Supporting high‑fidelity software simulation environments used in ATM research.
  • Maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting ARTS facility systems and operational tools.
  • Providing technical integration, configuration management, or system administration to ensure continuity during NASA’s ongoing organizational and contract transitions.
  • Working closely with NASA researchers, facility operators, and the broader Metis technical team to ensure uninterrupted mission support.
