Make a Difference for Mental Health!

Use your time and talents to make a difference for mental health in our community. NAMI Montgomery County is currently seeking volunteers to serve as young adult presenters for the Ending the Silence Program to share their mental health journy with Middle and High school students.

  • Must be an individual between the ages of 18 to 35, living with a mental health condition.
  • All potential presenters must go through an application and screening process.
  • Complete a self paced online training followed by an in-person practice session to become certified.
  • Must be comfortable sharing your mental health journey with others in a group setting.
  • Daytime availability preferred.
