Job Summary
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Successfully support students with a wide range of needs including, instructional, behavioral and life skill needs;
Ability to implement teacher planned activities that support planned goals and objectives;
Implement positive behavior techniques;
Perform simple clerical work;
Participate in training and meetings;
Computer Technology and/or assistive technology knowledge;
Ability to manipulate wheel chairs and orthopedic devices;
Ability to assist with toileting and feeding as needed, does not apply to all positions;
Ability to lift and position disabled students.
