Led by internationally acclaimed Chef Athinagoras Kostakos, NAIA features vibrant mezze, fresh seafood, wood-grilled specialties, and an expansive beverage program in a stunning indoor-outdoor waterfront setting.

NAIA is seeking Bussers who can deliver exceptional guest experiences in our fast-paced, high-volume, full-service restaurant environment. These roles require strong attention to detail, urgency, and teamwork to ensure food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and with proper presentation.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Clear and reset tables quickly and accurately according to company standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and guest areas.
  • Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service as needed.
  • Monitor dining room cleanliness, including floors, chairs, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Maintain stocked and organized service stations (napkins, flatware, glassware, condiments).
  • Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils safely and efficiently to designated dish areas.
  • Dispose of trash and recycling promptly and maintain clean trash receptacles.
  • Assist servers and support staff in maintaining smooth dining room operations during service.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to support service flow.
  • Complete opening, running, and closing side work as assigned.
  • Follow all company policies, sanitation guidelines, and food safety standards.
  • Contribute positively to team morale and support fellow team members during high-volume periods.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company hospitality standards.
  • Additional duties as needed within the scope of the role.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience required; high-volume experience strongly preferred.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and allergens.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift).
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds (large trays, multiple plates).
  • Continuous movement in a fast-paced environment.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and maneuvering through tight spaces.
  • Must be able to move safely through kitchen and dining area, including slick floors and tight spaces.
