Are you a precision welder who takes pride in producing flawless work for critical applications?

Barron Industries, a trusted name in aerospace and defense manufacturing since 1983, and BARRON INDUSTRIES IS the 2026 Small Business Manufacturer of the Year for Michigan and the Great Lakes Region. We are seeking a NADCAP Certified TIG Welder to join our 1st shift team in Oxford, MI.

What You'll Do

  • Perform precision TIG welding on aluminum and ferrous metals for aerospace and defense components
  • Work to exacting specifications in a NADCAP-accredited facility
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
  • Maintain weld quality standards per AS9100 and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to ensure mission-critical components meet specifications
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Active AWS certification, or at a NADCAP accredited facility
  • Proven TIG welding experience with Aluminum and ferrous metals
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., sit and stand for long periods
  • Pass welder vision exam.

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of production welding experience
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems
  • Multi-process welding capabilities
