Job description

Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Structural Engineer in West Milton, NY. An active DOE L clearance or DOD equivalent is required to be considered for this position.

Headquartered in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Navarro has active programs in place across the nation for DOE/NNSA, NASA, and the Department of Defense.

Work within a project team environment to support construction projects at the Knolls Site. Develop and define project scope with sponsors. Work with a project team to develop specifications, cost estimates, drawing reviews, and provide engineering support during construction phase for buildings and utility projects. Oversee architectural engineering firms in developing concept designs, construction documents, and cost estimates. Coordinate and interact with facility staff and contractors.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Working knowledge of NYS Building Codes, AISC, ASCE

EIT certificate and or P.E. License Engineering consulting experience
